Congratulations!
Congratulations to the children who took part in the Kwik Cricket Tournament on Tuesday 14th May. We are very proud that they came second place due to their excellent determination!
The children from Year Three and Year Four participated in a Kwik Cricket Tournament at Tipton Sports centre on Tuesday 14th May; competing against a number of schools. They showed fantastic team spirit and great cricket skills.
The children won three out of four of their matches, making some phenomenal catches and super runs! Every single member of the team bowled extremely well and showed great strength and determination.
The final match was nail biting… The children needed to win in order to gain first place. They fielded first and showed excellent team work, giving each other plenty of encouragement. Unfortunately, they fell a few runs short of winning overall but they finished in a solid second place!
Well done to all of the children involved! They should be really proud of themselves!
