We have had an "egg-citing" few days in Reception! 

On Monday we had a delivery of eggs in an incubator for us to hatch and look after. We were very happy and could not wait to see what would happen. 

We did not have to wait very long! Today (Wednesday 10th May) three of our chicks had hatched overnight! We were very lucky as throughout the morning three more hatched! We were able to watch it on the tv screen in the classroom, as it happened. 

We have been looking at our eggs and chicks very carefully and have been keeping a chick diary. We are enjoying having them in class and cannot wait to see if anymore of the chicks hatch!
