Today we learned about the tradition of Shrove Tuesday ( Pancake day). We now know that on Shrove Tuesday people use up all the nice ingredients from their cupboards in preparation for the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. We all had a lovely time topping our pancakes with sugar, lemon juice, strawberry jam, golden syrup or honey for our afternoon snack. Take a look at our photos!
