In Reception this week we have been investigating - Which hat would be best to wear today?

We watched the weather forecast and then compared a variety of hats and talked about when we might wear them. We also talked about the materials which the hats were made of and why they make  the right material for  the type of hat. 

We made hat's at the investigation station for a variety of diffrent weather conditions. We though about whether the hat needed to be warm, waterproof or to reflect heat from the sun. 

Some of us also had a go at forecasting the weather!
