This term Year One have been fantastic scientists when learning all about animals! We have being getting hands on and carrying out lots of investigations! When learning about what animals eat we had to become brilliant biologists when we found lots of stinky animal poo in our classroom. We had to find out which animal it belonged to by deciding if it was an omnivore, carnivore or herbivore (don't worry, it wasn't real poo!). We then looked at whether fish really do have fingers just like Barry the blow fish! We had to observe a real fish and identify the different parts of its body. It was fish-tastic!
