Science Week 2017
We wanted to set Science Week off with a BANG so we invited in the Science Boffins to work with us! We started our day with an explosive assembly!

We all took part in our own workshop, you can find some of these pictures on our curriculum pages!
We decided that we would spend the whole week learning across the curriculum through Science.

Nursery were learning about Incy wincy Spider! We made our very own sticky spider webs!

Reception we took part in lots of activities and even made slime – yuck!

Year One learnt all about owls and how they change from an owlet to become an adult owl.
Year Two explored healthy food and investigated the amount of sugar in some of our favourite drinks!

Year Three researched the importance of honey and bees; they even investigated how weather changes honey.

Year Five were supporting endangered animals and preparing debates to save some of them!

Year Four investigated the many different types of penguins – there are loads!

Finally, Year Six classified plants and researched Jane Goodall.
We had great fun and can’t wait for next years!
